Sanctuary Sozo Minstry
"Sozo" is a Greek word meaning salvation, healing, deliverance, to be made whole and is found many times throughout the New Testament. The "SOZO" ministry finds it's purpose and fulfillment in that definition and description.
Salvation -
"If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead you will be saved [SOZO]" (Romans 10:9)
"For the Son of man came to seek and to save [SOZO] what was lost." (Luke 19:10)
Healing -
"But Jesus turning and seeing her said, 'Daughter, take courage, your faith has made you well [SOZO] and at once the woman was made well [SOZO] (Matthew 9:22)
Deliverance -
"And those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon-possessed had been made well [SOZO]" (Luke 8:36)
So what is Sozo Ministry?
Sozo is all about getting to the root of those things that hinder your relationship with God and your destiny in life. You will meet with a two person team; and utilizing listening prayer, healing, deliverance and other spiritual tools you will uproot spiritual issues that are the real causes of what holds you back in life.
Who should go through Sozo?
Anyone who wants to get closer to God. There are always things in our lives which hinder us from engaging with God in one way or the other. For some people it's a matter of dealing with soulish issues just so they can live a "normal" life. For others, it's a process which releases greater and greater manifestation of God's plan in their life. If you are still breathing and walking on this earth, Sozo is for you.
Why do I meet with a team?
Because we are interdependent upon one another. We are meant to bear one another's burdens and confess our faults to one another.
Who directs the Sozo session?
The Holy Spirit does. The team members are responsible for hearing the questions, and you will hear the Holy Spirit's answers. So rest assured that the Holy Spirit will not take you anywhere He has not already prepared you for.
Is Sozo counseling?
Sozo is not counseling. Sozo is what the Holy Spirit wants to do in your life at that moment.
